We believe that every teacher is a “Star” in their own right and The Stars in Education Awards is our way of celebrating and rewarding the teachers who have gone the extra mile in making a positive difference in the lives of their learners and even their surrounding communities.
About Stars in Education
The first Stars in Education Awards was hosted on 10 July 2008. It was a great success, bringing together various organizations ranging from the National Department of Education, Corporate South Africa as well as educational institutions.

Metro FM has come on board as a media partner for The Stars in Education Awards and is flighting 26, 30 second radio advertisements from 28 June 2010 to 30 July 2010. This campaign is targeted at generating entries for the 2010 Stars in Education Awards.
